Ciao a tutti!

My name is Ilaria. I come from Florence, Tuscany: cradle of the Renaissance and birthplace of the Italian Language.  

I’ve always been fascinated by different cultures so, after completing my BA in Foreign Languages and Literature, I traveled around Europe before finally deciding to fulfill my wildest dreams of moving to Los Angeles to become a professional musician and actress. 

During my artistic journey, I began tutoring American students. I take pride in helping my students discover the complexity and beauty of the Italian Language as well as Italian Culture free from stereotypes and outdated characterizations. 

This has been one of the most unexpectedly rewarding experiences of my life.

I have been able to combine my love of Music and Art with my love of Language, Grammar, and, of course, my Italian heritage.

I would be honored to open the doors to our little but significant world by starting or continuing this journey through Italian with you!
